Your tax dollars at work
Aperently people don't like to go to the dentist in the snow. That's fine by me. Three of us headed up to Alpine Valley to kill the day. It's not Colorado (longest run was 14 seconds at full bore), but it's snow. It's a lot more entertaining with a flash of Dewars. It is official now, though--rental skis often suck. It was all I could do tucked and straight down to watch my friends pull away as they lazily swished back and forth. We did manage to switch skis a few times only to confirm that it wasn't just me. And those guys are expert skiiers.
