Almost like home
I love how anytime you order some sort of furniture, large electronics, anything that has to be delivered, or even if the cable man has to make a house call, they give you a good four hour window of when they’ll actually show up. For most of us, that means taking at least half a day off work. I suppose I was lucky this morning when I got a call from the doorman at 8:05am when the furniture delivery guys showed up. With a window from 8:00 to 12:00, I guess I’m lucky they came right away. Friday being one of my days off, I was hoping they’d show up right in the middle of the window so I could sleep in a little more, but whatever. Neither of the guys spoke English, and they dropped one of the concrete table tops. It will have to be replaced, but the stuff looks GREAT in the meantime. Now I just have the couch to go. It’s suppose to be ready sometime in mind September. I’m guessing they have to grow the cotton to make the fabric before they can actually make and deliver the couch. Frickin’ unions.
These are the tables that arrived.

Parsons Side table, Concrete Top

Parsons Square Coffee Table, Concrete Top
Hummm... they look amazingly similar. Guess one picture would have been enough. This furniture looks really sharp, though, and I would recommend it to anyone.
